Work Permits
Work Permits for Students
Work permits go through the counseling office with Ms. Atkins.
- Students must submit an application for a work permit to the counseling office with an employer's signature, parent's signature, and student's signature before a work permit can be issued.
- In many cases and for certain types of employment, a call to the employer is required before a work permit can be issued. Because of this, two school days are needed to complete the work permit once their work permit application has been received.
- When campus is closed during breaks, the district office can issue work permits for students.
- As a reminder, students are only eligible for work permits if they have a 2.0 GPA or higher and a 90% or higher attendance rate.
